The all.u.me app connects callers with backups and serves as a learning portal of the bystander intervention method - The 5Ds by righttobe.org.

While the all.u.me app is a must for all all.u.me jewelry owners it’s also a community for all of us who care about our loved ones, but also want to backup a stranger, who might as well be our daughter, sister, girlfriend, friend, or partner. all.u.mes mission is to empower everyone to speak up or step in when witnessing or experiencing harassment. The 5Ds is a proven and safe method that helps us choose an intervention strategy as an alternative to silence and passivity. Choose to either be direct, delegate, make a distraction, document, or delay.

Besides coordinating calls and helping people intervene safely, the app also gives access to the all.u.me jewelry store, where you can buy Bluetooth-powered jewelry you can use to start a call for backup. Once the jewelry is connected to your phone, you can also start calls directly from the app.

From the all.u.me app, you can:

*Get introduced to the 5Ds - Distract, Direct, Delegate, Delay, and Document
*Access all.u.mes Instagram and TikTok profile for more inspiration
*Edit your profile and add additional information
*Access the history of calls you have participated in
*Report users that did not act according to the 5 Ds
*Access the all.u.me shop to browse or buy new jewelry
*Test your all.u.me jewelry and pair new ones

If you have started a call you can:

*See which backups are on their way
*See an estimate of when they are at your location
*Stop the call when you are safe again

- Should you start a call by mistake you can quickly cancel it and all.u.me will let anyone on their way to help you know why the call was stopped.

If you have accepted to be a backup, you can:

*See routing to the caller’s location
*See other backups that are on their way
*See other backups location and estimated arrival time
*Have guidance on how to locate the caller
*Be inspired on how you can intervene using one of the 5Ds

- Should you have accepted to be a backup by mistake you can at any time cancel your participation in the call from the app.

The all.u.me app is a catalyst that puts a spotlight on people who experience harassment and maximizes their chance of getting backup to de-escalate and exit the uncomfortable situation. However, our mission is not accomplished before harassment is stopped and prevented before it even takes place. Only together we can shift the culture that supports harassment.
